Welcome to Health Libraries Midlands (HeLM)

HeLM is a newly merged consortium of 50 health libraries across the Midlands. We now provide your local health library service.

What can I borrow?

Members (staff, students on placement, volunteers and external members who hold an agreement with a home library) can borrow a total of 16 items at any one time, from HeLM libraries.

HeLM share a library catalogue and as a library member you can borrow items from across the region. If your ‘home’ library doesn’t hold a title, another one may!

You can reserve up to 16 items at any one time and we will automatically renew then for you five times.
